Critical Consensus
The Nikon D3x is a higher-resolution (and much higher priced) version of the Nikon D3. While an all-around excellent camera, this camera is best for those who need the extra resolution. For photographers who aren't printing large images or doing other resolution-dependent work, the newer and cheaper Nikon D4 is probably a better all-around choice.
